10 OCTOBER 2026 · EVERYDAY CAREA towel, and a new lesson
Seventy towels were donated to children at Sona Sarovar Trust. A teacher demonstrated how to use them — a reminder that even a simple essential can create a moment of learning.

Supporting underserved communities in Mumbai through child health, education, creative activities, food distribution and elderly care.

Sometimes it is a school fee. Sometimes a box of colours. Sometimes an everyday essential that makes life a little easier.
Supporting school education and sharing stationery and classroom essentials so children have more room to learn and grow.
Making space for creativity through painting, music and play, including activities with children undergoing cancer treatment.
Community deworming drives and thoughtful contributions of everyday essentials, guided by the needs of the people we support.
AuroMira Care Foundation was founded by Dr. Aparna Govil Bhasker and Mr. Balamurugan Bhasker Canagaradjou, with a shared belief in compassion, empathy and social responsibility. Its work brings together preventive healthcare, education, child welfare, elderly care and community support in Mumbai, with initiatives elsewhere in Maharashtra.
We do our bit whenever an opportunity to help arises. Whether it is supporting a child’s education, sharing a meal, encouraging creativity or contributing to the care of older people, our efforts are guided by the needs we encounter and a willingness to make a difference.
“Care begins with paying attention.”

A senior laparoscopic and bariatric surgeon, Dr. Aparna brings her experience in healthcare and her commitment to community service to AuroMira. Her interests in education and art also shape the foundation’s efforts to create opportunities, encourage creativity and bring moments of joy.

Bhasker is a management consultant with over 20 years of experience in corporate strategy and business consulting. He advises global companies and startups on growth, market expansion and business strategy. Alongside his professional work, he supports AuroMira’s community initiatives and outreach.

Arvin, a middle-school student, has been part of AuroMira’s journey alongside his mother and father from the very beginning. He has participated in every activity and is one of the foundation’s biggest motivators. Passionate about helping others, he contributes his time and pocket money to support children’s education and everyday needs. His enthusiasm reminds us that you are never too young to make a difference.
To respond to needs around us with compassion and practical support, helping children, older people and underserved communities live with greater dignity, opportunity and joy.
A kinder society where people notice one another’s needs and contribute in whatever way they can.
A selection of activities from our journey. Each one starts with people, a need and a willingness to help.
